about elutee

elutee comes from the Estonian word meaning way of life and that is exactly what this space represents.

I’m Leith Johanson, a Clinical Nutritionist with a Bachelor of Health Science (Nutritional Medicine) and Personal Trainer, and over 25 years of experience across nutrition, movement, coaching, and lifestyle education. I specialise in supporting people over 40 to build strong and sustainable health. Particularly through the transition into perimenopause.

elutee space exists because midlife health needs a different conversation.

No extremes. No punishment. No starting over every Monday.

But lifestyle habits that work with your body, your hormones, and your real life.

the elutee philosophy

Health isn’t built through willpower. It is built through patterns.

As a former athlete, I understand discipline and structure. But what years in the health industry taught me is this: lasting change doesn’t come from pushing harder. It comes from understanding how food, movement, stress, sleep, environment and mindset interact, especially in the time of midlife.

elutee is a lifestyle-based approach to health. One that focuses on:

  • Strength and movement for longevity
  • Nutrition that supports energy and hormones
  • Nervous system regulation and mental wellbeing
  • Habits that fit into real, busy lives

This isn’t about chasing a body. It’s about building self-trust, confidence, and consistency so that health becomes something you live, not something you fight.

why elutee exists

After years working in the industry, my own lifestyle shifted.

Travel, routine changes, and the disruption of 2020 meant I was moving less, drinking more, and slowly disconnecting from the habits I knew supported me. Physically, I felt heavier. Mentally, I felt disappointed in myself.

As I approached my mid-forties, I had a clear realisation: if I continued this way, the next phase of my life would only feel harder, not easier.

Perimenopause preparation wasn’t optional. It was essential.

I knew my body deserved better. More importantly, I knew it was still capable of thriving.

what changed?

I didn’t look for a quick fix.

I used the tools I already had. My knowledge in nutrition, movement, lifestyle design, and behaviour change. I committed to treating my body with respect.

This meant:

  • Moving consistently, not excessively
  • Eating to support energy and hormones
  • Removing alcohol
  • Prioritising sleep, recovery, and my mental space

Over time, those choices rebuilt my energy, confidence, and trust in myself.

That process became the foundation of elutee.

who elutee is for?

elutee is for people who:

  • Feel like their body has changed the rules
  • Are tired of starting over
  • Want sustainable health, not extremes
  • Are ready to prepare for midlife, not fear it

The elutee space is not built on motivation.

It is built on lifestyle habits that last.

If you’re ready to approach health differently, with clarity, consistency, and self-respect, you are in the right place.

Welcome to elutee!
